Beachwalk Isles is conveniently located with supermarkets, numerous restaurants, a pharmacy, bank, post office and Blockbuster DVD rental, all less than a mile away. Further supermarkets and restaurants and a variety of other shops are easily accessible. Anyone wishing for "retail therapy" will find factory outlets and excellent shopping malls close by.

The superb white sandy beaches of Ft Myers are a few minutes away, with the causeway to unspoilt Sanibel Island a similar distance. Admiring the wonderful sunsets and shell collecting are popular pastimes.

There are activities to suit all, including numerous first class golf courses, crazy golf courses, various water sports, boat hire and fishing. A sports stadium, cinemas and a theatre offer a wide range of entertainment. It is even possible to take a day trip by sea to the southernmost point in the USA - Key West.

The fascinating Everglades are easily accessible, together with many other nature reserves, including one on Sanibel Island.

This is a wonderful year round holiday destination with something for everyone.

There are international airports at Ft Myers (20 minutes from our home), Miami and Tampa, each about 2½ hours drive away, and also at Orlando with charter flights into Sanford, just north of Orlando.

At certain times of the year, and sometimes at fairly short notice, charter fly-drives to Sanford can be extremely good value. It is easy to put together a holiday that suits individual needs and we are happy to discuss this. Car hire is readily available at all airports and this is best booked in this country ahead of travel; again we would be pleased to give help and advice.
